A site by loaders, for loaders.

Things are often crazy around the AF and 2W1 career field and hopefully this will bring some relief from the everyday grind. Deployments, exercises, new weapons systems & support equipment, new operating locations, failures, successes, mishaps, and the loss of friends and comrades can take a toll, so sit back and relax.  And, please remember what you have volunteered to do for your country and that people really do appreciate the sacrifices.

PLEASE, let's make this a 'living' site and send me your images and movies for upload into the rotating gallery.  Occasionally, the images will rotate out so that the entire archive can be viewed at some point.

Yours truly, the webmaster, has recently retired from a 21 1/2 year career as a 462. (That's what we 'real' loaders used to be called back in the good 'ol days!).  I did a lot, saw a lot, partied a lot, and stressed a lot. But it seems that I'm always running into that weapons guy or gal out there that has done far more.  I salute you, all of you, and very much enjoyed my time out there humpin' bombs, slingin' missiles and crankin' ammo. To my comrades and crew members over those years, thank you and I'll miss those times we shared. Don't let anyone get you down, and remember this is a brotherhood that cannot be broken. 

I have made lifelong friends in this line of work and will cherish the memories.
